Head Chef Required


Our client, a leading Hotel in Donegal is seeking an energetic & dynamic, hands-on the head chef to lead our team at one of Donegal’s most loved Hotels with extensive restaurant, bar, and function business. 

We are looking for a chef with flair and creativity, a passion for fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment. 
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day running and supervision of the kitchen.

You will be multi-skilled with the ability to lead your team.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Establishing and sustaining productive relationships with key client contacts

  • Day to day production of all kitchen requirements. 

  • Financial and Operational Management of the kitchen ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity.

  • Managing staffing requirements and rosters. 

  • Ordering and replenishing stock

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Proven and successful background in Kitchen Management

  • A focus on providing excellent contemporary food!

  • Strong understanding of all aspects of menu planning disciplines

  • Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment

  • Highly developed leadership skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Impeccable grooming standards

  • Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles

  • Computer literate
