Head Chef Required
HEAD CHEF REQUIRED €50k+ PA
Our client, a leading Hotel in Donegal is seeking an energetic & dynamic, hands-on the head chef to lead our team at one of Donegal’s most loved Hotels with extensive restaurant, bar, and function business.
We are looking for a chef with flair and creativity, a passion for fantastic food and a willingness to work in a positive team environment.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day running and supervision of the kitchen.
You will be multi-skilled with the ability to lead your team.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Establishing and sustaining productive relationships with key client contacts

Day to day production of all kitchen requirements.

Financial and Operational Management of the kitchen ensuring only the very highest standards of food presentation & creativity.

Managing staffing requirements and rosters.

Ordering and replenishing stock
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

Proven and successful background in Kitchen Management

A focus on providing excellent contemporary food!

Strong understanding of all aspects of menu planning disciplines

Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment

Highly developed leadership skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Impeccable grooming standards

Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles

Computer literate
